The
Ferini ART Gallery is situated 500 yards from the North Sea in the small village
of Pakefield just south of Lowestoft in Suffolk. Lowestoft is the most
easterly town in Great Britain.
The Ferini Art Gallery in Pakefield just south of Lowestoft, is arguably the most easterly in Great Britain. The gallery is very close to the beach where you will find many delights. Pakefield is renowned for its small fishing boats that can be seen setting out early in the morning catching shrimps, codling, dab and sea bass. These locally caught fish may be obtained from a little hut on the cliff tops. The surrounding area is known for its skies and seascapes, cliff top walks and natural beauty; with Pakefield church featuring in many of our artists' compositions. The gallery has information on other art related venues in the area and listings of art classes held in and around Lowestoft.
Ferini Art Gallery was developed and opened in 1996 on the sight of an old net store, which had been converted into a hardware store The Ferini building incorporates a gallery, photographic studio and video production and editing facilities. The Ferini building has been deemed one of the most attractive in Lowestoft and many visitors to the gallery describe it as one of the most peaceful and beautiful in East Anglia.
Paintings, drawings and photographs of Pakefield beach are very popular in the gallery.

"We, the undersigned, believe
that a third crossing of
Lake Lothing is essential to
the future wellbeing of the
town and people of Lowestoft.
We call upon
Suffolk County Council,
as the local highway authority, to support a third crossing
so that a scheme can be taken forward to government through
the Highways Agency and the
regional prioritisation process."
